PROJECT: Co cay cung biet hat
ROLE: Co-Founder
LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
IMPACT: 20 children taught guitar | 5 guitars donated | 8,500,000 VND total fund
I was in charge of the fundraising, including setting targets, creating campaigns, reaching out to sponsors, and managing the team that carried them out. "Teaching Guitar" to twenty kids in the Saigon Railway Station Shelter for two months is an undertaking of which I am very pleased.
Along time, I rallied support and gave five guitars, valued at 5,000,000 VND, so the kids could practice and improve their musical skills. Also, in the hopes that the kids would feel loved and supported as they embarked on their educational path, I distributed inspirational presents valued at 2,000,000 VND.
I gave the kids 1,500,000 VND in souvenirs as a sign of thanks and an incentive to keep going once we wrapped up the project, and we had a closing performance so they could show off what they had learnt. The kids had fun, and the community and kind hearts were even better off because of this endeavor.
